In this topic, I'm going to discussion about Information Sharing. Do you get the view of it? As for the definition, it is the process of exchanging data among various computer networks and it usually operated by separate organizations. There are several types of information sharing that are social networking, Google.doc, Drop box application and Youtube. But in this entry, I will focus more on social networking that is Facebook.
What is Social Networking?
Social networking is the grouping of individuals into specific groups, like small rural communities or a neighborhood subdivision, if you will. Although social networking is possible in person, especially in the workplace, universities, and high schools, it is most popular online.There are many of the examples of social networking such as Facebook, Blogger,Youtube, Twitter and so on. But currently, Facebook is very popular social networking website that user always use in order to connect with people.
What is Facebook?
Founded in February 2004, Facebook is a social utility that helps people communicate more efficiently with their friends, family and coworkers. The company develops technologies that facilitate the sharing of information through the social graph, the digital mapping of people's real-world social connections. A part of that, anyone can sign up for Facebook and interact with the people they know in a trusted environment. Plus, Facebook is a part of millions of people’s lives and half of the users return daily.

Situation
Nowadays, people are tend to express their feeling or problem through Facebook whether when they are angry, happy, sad and so on. They use Facebook as the medium to talk and communicate with their friends, family and others. But some of them use Facebook to spreads the news such as current issues and so on. That will consider as the advantage of using Facebook. But sometimes, Facebook also can spreads the virus where it can send such the porno video to the users. That is the disadvantage of Facebook. some say it is based on work, business..
some may agree that it is a medium for people to share everything in life..
so which one do you think is the main reason of having this?
I agree that facebook has made it a lot easier for a lot of people to share information, but apparently it has also people addicted to it. :D
idzmeer: as we all know, the purpose of having social network is to connect with people. somehow, we dont have enough time to hang out with friends right. by using social network, they can share everthing there. instead of connecting with people, some of us use this as alternative to do online shop. :)

Yes, I agree with you. There can be some benefits and disadvantages with social networking, and you have to be mature to use it responsibly.
